The Altar & Rosary Society was established in 1933. Its mission is to unite Catholic women of the parish in promoting a special devotion to the Mother of God, and to promote respect and honor to Mary and her divine Son. Goals also include to receive Holy Communion every third Sunday of the month, attend regular meetings and devotional exercises of this society, to promote a truly Christian example in the home and a spiritual life in the parish, and to supply those materials that are necessary for the spiritual well-being of the parish, especially those relating to the altar.
The first officers were President, Katherine Tarnecki; Secretary, Frances Nadratowski; and Treasurer, Katherine Andrysei. The moderator was Reverend Joseph F. Pietrowicz.
Current officers are: President, Michele Clark; Vice-President, Maureen Baab; Treasurer, Anna Maria Tuccillo, and Secretary, Judy Rudolph.
The ladies meet the third Monday of the month at 7 P.M. in the dining room of the rectory. All ladies are welcome!
